Taken away

You took away her smile,
she said nothing.
You took away her sparkle,
She didn't care.
You took away her hope,
She said she didn't need it.
You took away her friends,
She stayed alone.
You broke down her self-esteem,
She didn't let it show.
You snatched the life out of her eyes,
She carried on.
But when you took away the one thing she loved,
She killed herself.
